Tall glabrous liane to 20m with leaves 125mm x 40mm, white flowers in dense axillary & terminal clusters with minute bracts, calyx 1mm long, sweet-scented corolla glabrous without varying in colour white, yellow, ochre, purple violet, 12mm long, pink tube 7mm long slightly hairy within, white lobes 7mm long, orange-brown or yellow fruit

Stems used to make traps, latex provides rubber, fruit edible
