Glabrous tendril liane with hooked branches with lenticels. Papery leaves 100mm x 40mm. Solitary axillary greenish flowers with bracts, calyx 2mm long, 5 sepals, glabrous corolla 10mm long with lobes 8mm long. Fruit with 5 or more longitudinal ribs, to 100mm x 50mm.
