Small tree or glabrous climber, lenticellate stems, coriaceous leaves 350mm x 120mm, axillary cymes with bracteoles, white or yellowish flowers. 5 sepals to 3mm x 2.5mm, calyx tube to 1.5mm, 5 petals 14mm long pubescent both surfaces, corolla tube 10mm long villous outside, paired brown follicles 180mm x 9mm
