Tree or rarely a scandent shrub with coriaceous leaves to 350mm x 240mm, dentate margins, glabrous above pubescent beneath. Terminal cauliflorous or axillary pubescent cymes, yellow-green male flowers to 2mm diameter with 6-8 tepals, yellow female flowers to 5mm diameter with 6 tepals, black drupe 15mm long
