Evergreen twining vine with tomentose stems, trifoliolate leaves to 120mm long, bristly above, pubescent beneath. Racemes to 250mm long with ferrugineaous bracts, 25mm pink-purple flowers, bilabate hirsute calyx, standard & wing petals 15mm diameter, flat pilose pods to 70mm x 8mm
