Long scandent liane or tall climbing pubescent unarmed shrub, whole plant covered in rusty brown hairs, leaves 125mm x 50mm glabrescent above except midrib & hispid beneath. 4mm long scented white or yellow-green flowers in axillary cymes 40mm diameter with bracts, hispid or glabrous calyx tube, corolla tube hairy inside, 8mm long green fruit tinged red-brown & drying black
