Perennial dioecious pubescent twiner with setose yellow drupes, densely pubescent hooked bristly or strigose stems, huge leaves 5-lobed more than 300mm diameter, male racemose panicles to 400mm long, with setose bracts, female to 100mm long, greenish male flowers, sepals 3.2mm, petals 2.2mm long, female flowers 1.5mm long, fruit a drupe 25mm x 20mm, flowers yellow in racemes. Twiner with hispid or bristly stems, 3-5 lobed leaves to 200mm diameter hispid above glabrescent beneath, racemose panicles with bracts & bracteoles to 300mm long, setose drupe 150mm x 20mm
