Scandent glabrous shrub, tree, liana or perennial evergreen vine with villous or glabrous stems. Pinnate villous foliage 100mm x 35mm shiny above. Terminal, lateral or axillary flowers, solitary or in cymes with bracts to 7mm long & bracteoles, 26mm fragrant white flowers, 26mm tube, 25mm lobes, white-villous or glabrous calyx 3mm x 3mm with 6-9 lobes 8-9mm long, corolla tube to 18mm long with 9-10 glabrous lobes. 15mm x 4mm & red berries ripening black to 20mm x 13mm
