Tall scandent glabrous shrub to 4m. Coriaceous leaves 220mm long shiny above. Terminal or axillary solitary or racemes with bracts of 3 22mm white flowers, pink or purple outside, calyx 5mm long with 9 lobes 8mm long, corolla tube 30mm, 7-10 lobes 25mm & purple berries to 20mm x 18mm
