Slightly woody slender twining liana pubescent on young parts, with cymes or solitary pink or reddish-purple flowers to 25mm long with exserted genitals with minute bracts, sepals to 4mm long, 5-lobed red-purple corolla to 25mm long, brown 8-valved capsule 8mm diameter with persistent sepals, mucronate leaves sparsely white-hairy to 60mm long
