Slightly woody twining rusty-tomentose climber with axillary dichasia or cymes with small bracts, of violet-blue flowers with white lines inside to 25mm diameter, sepals to 8mm x 8mm, glabrous blue corolla with mucronate petals to 16mm long. Glabrous brown 8-valved capsule 5mm diameter enveloped in calyx to 5mm long, tomentose leaves to 40mm long usually mucronate
