Slender perennial herb, , decumbent, scrambling or erect, occasionally epiphytic, to 3m with glabrate stems. Leaves to 100mm x 55mm, hairy on margins & veins. Terminal lax panicles to 300mm x 150mm with bracts to 4mm x 2.5mm & bracteoles to 0.5mm x 2mm. Flower calyx to 2.5mm long extending to 3.2mm in fruit, white, pink or purple corolla with pink, red or purple markings, to 20mm long with lower lips protruding to 14mm long & lobes to 6.5mm. Mostly glabrous capsule to 17.5mm long.
