High-climbing rhizomatous herb with leaves to 120mm x 20mm+. Racemes to 150mm long with coriaceous glabrous bracts to 25mm wide, violet and yellowish-mauve flowers to 30mm long, sepals to 20mm long, corolla tube to 30mm long with pale yellow lobes to 10mm long.
