Glabrous or pubescent high-climbing woody twiner with large tuberous root. Ternate coriaceous leaves, rarely 4-lobed, leaflets 20mm long. Axillary solitary 50mm white flowers or bright pink flowers deeper in throat with cream rays, outer 2 sepals to 10mm long & glabrous, inner 3 lobes glabrous to 18mm, corolla 50mm diameter with tube 45mm x 20mm, lobes bearded, peduncles purplish. Capsule to 15mm diameter.
