Perennial herbaceous almost glabrous twiner with glabrous or pubescent stems. Glabrous or tomentose leaves entire or lobate. 1-5 flowered axillary cymes with bracteoles to 3mm of 80mm blue & red or purple flowers dark inside tube or white with purple inside, coriaceous glabrous sepals to 12mm x 8mm, glabrous pink, white or yellowish corolla with dark centre to 80mm long, limb 45mm diameter. Glabrous capsule to 15mm long
