Liana-like perennial to 5m with pilose stems with white hairs & spines on angles. Mucronate leaves to 110mm x 100mm, glabrous above & pilose on veins beneath. 5-10 flowered cymes with bracteoles 1.5mm x 0.5mm, glabrous or pubescent sepals to 11mm x 8mm, pink corolla to 90mm long with limb 50mm wide.
