Perennial pubescent or glabrous herbaceous twining or trailing lianas, villous branches, yellow-pilose stems with aerial roots. Glabrous lobed mucronate leaves to 110mm x 50mm. Axillary 1-5 flowered cymes or umbels withmucronate bracteoles to 20mm x 15mm of mauve, pink or purple 40mm wide x 90mm long flowers with darker centre with bracts, outer sepals to 20mm long, 2 interior sepals to 12mm long, pink glabrous corolla to 80mm long with limb 40mm diameter. Axillary 1-2 flowered, 4-valved fruit capsule to 15mm long with persistent sepal.
