Fruiting Times
Perennial pubescent or downy woody twining stem-rooting climber or creeper with tomentose stems to 3.5m. Mucronate 3-lobed or oval leaves to 170mm x 140mm villous above & grey-woolly beneath. Axillary few to many-flowered umbels or cymes with bracteoles to 7mm, 50mm x 45mm purple or red flowers, pubescent calyx 8mm long, mucronate sepals hairy outside to 14mm long, 16mm long in fruit. Bright purple or pink pubescent corolla with darker centre to 55mm long with limb to 50mm diameter. 15mm long globose glabrous 4-valved capsule to 13mm x 12mm enclosed by sepals.
