Twining vine with angular striate glabrous stems. Glabrous leaves to 70mm x 40mm. 3-5 flowered cymes to 50mm long with deciduous bracts, red flowers to 35mm diameter, exterior sepals to 5mm long, interior sepals to 7mm long. Capsule to 9mm diameter.
