Annual or perennial herbaceous glabrous twiner or creeper with glabrous stems. 3-lobed mucronate leaves glabrous & roughish above, villous below to 120mm x 100mm. Axillary cymes or racemes with bracteoles to 2mm of 25mm red & yellow flowers then white in a one-sided spike or raceme, glabrous or pilose sepals to 3.5mm x 2mm with trminal awn to 4mm long, curved corolla to 25mm long with 5 small tooth-like lobes. Glabrous capsule 7mm diameter.
