Prostrate or twining herb, mostly glabrous, with solitary to 3-flowered axillary inflorescences with bracts to 2mm long, pink, crimson or pink-purple glabrous flowers with darker centre to 50mm long, tube to 40mm long, twin or solitary flowers, exterior coriaceous sepals 10mm x 5mm, interior coriaceous sepals 10mm x 7mm, corolla 40mm long, 10mm diameter glabrous capsule, mucronulate lobed or entire glabrous leaves to 60mm x 45mm
