Herbaceous glabrous twiner or trailer to 10m long with lenticellate striate stems. Glabrous sagittate-based leaves to 60mm x 50mm with lobes. Solitary or axillary cymes of 1-7 flowers with bracts, pale purple to reddish-purple flowers with small bracts, glabrous sepals to 25mm x 5mm, pink or lilac glabrous corolla to 80mm long with limb 70mm diameter. Glabrous capsule to 10mm x 5mm.
