Climbing or trailing vigorous tuberous twiner with pubescent stems. Mucronate leaves glabrous or puberulent above, white pubescent beneath to 150mm x 150mm. 3-5 floweed axillary cymes wit bracteoles 5mm long, pink or lilac flowers, grey-tomentose sepals to 11mm x 7mm, pink tomentellous corolla to 70mm long with limb 40mm diameter. Glabrous capsule to 10mm long.
