Fruiting Times
Herbaceous hairy-stemmed annual twiner with glabrous stems becoming setose. Glabrous leaves to 100mm x 50mm. 1-2 flowered axillary cymes with bracteoles to 15mm x 5mm, of 40mm purplish to red flowers with a darker centre, glabrous calyx 12mm long, mucronate sepals to 20mm x 10mm, rose-purple glabrous corolla to 40mm long, tube 6mm diameter, with shallowly lobed limb 50mm diameter. Glabrous capsule pale brown to 15mm x 14mm, 4-valved, enclosed by persistent sepals
