Twining liana to 6m, stems woody below & glabrescent above. 3-lobed leaves to 140mm x 100mm, pubscent above & grey-tomentose beneath. Many-flowered axillary cymes with bracteoles, coriaceous glabrous sepals to 11mm x 6mm, glabrous corolla to 58mm long with brownish tube to 38mm x 9mm & lobed dark pink limb 20mm long.
