Herbaceous vine, occasionally scandent with woody pilose stems & tuberous roots. Mucronate leaves to 60mm x 20mm. grey-pubescent above & hispid beneath. Terminal or axillary cymes racemes to 75mm with bracteoles 6mm x 2mm of pinkish-white flowers with a pinkish tinge, deeper pink inside tube in terminal, grey tomentose sepals to 7mm, pink pilose corolla to 40mm with limb to 30mm diameter. Glabrous capsule 10mm x 6mm.
