Annual hirsute-pubescent or glabrate rhizomatous twiner or trailer to 3m, with deeply pitted 3-lobed mucronate glabrous or pilose leaves to 80mm x 60mm. 1-9 flowered axillary umbelliform cymes with pilose bracteoles to 7mm, purple or lilac flowers with darker throat, hairy or glabrous sepals to 12mm long, purple or pink glabrous corolla with dark centre to 40mm long with limb 25mm diameter. Sparsely pilose or glabrate capsule 8mm long. Mostly glabrous twiner. 3-cleft leaves to 50mm long. 3-10 flowered inflorescence, mucronate sepals 10mm long, pink or lilac-purple corolla 25mm+ long.
