Twining perennial to 5m with wiry glabrous or puberulent stems. Mucronate 5-7 lobed leaves, glabrous or pubescent to 100mm x 100mm. Axillary cymes of 1-7 flowers with 2mm bracteoles, coriaceous glabrous or puberulent sepals to 10mm x 7mm, pink glabrous corolla to 50mm long with limb 40mm diameter. Glabrous capsule 10mm x 8mm.
