Twining or erect perennial shrub or creeper with hoary tomentose woody branches, coriaceous leaves to 250mm x 50mm downy above, hoary tomentose beneath. Several flowered axillary cymes of violet-pink flowers, coriaceous sepals to 7.5mm long, corolla downy outside, pink corolla to 80mm long. Glabrous capsule to 1.5mm long
