Herbaceous glabrous or pubescent procumbent vine with twining stem tips to 3m with tuberous roots. Woody hirsute stems. Mucronate 3-5 lobed leaves to 90mm x 90mm, pubescent above & grey tomentose beneath. 1-10 flowered axillary cymes with scale-like bracteoles, of 65mm pale purple or pink flowers, coriaceous glabrous sepals to 8mm x 5mm, funnel-shaped pink glabrous corolla to 70mm long with limb to 40mm diameter. Glabrous capsule to 12mm x 7mm.
