Climber or erect perennial with woody white-tomentose stems to 1m. Mucronate silky or tomentose leaves to 100mm x 55mm. Terminal cymes of 1-10 flowers with hirsute bracteoles 10mm x 5mm, coriaceous glabrescent sepals 7mm x 9mm, pink glabrous corolla to 60mm long, lobed limb 40mm diameter. Glabrous capsule 8mm x 6mm.
