Caudiciform perennial climber with finely pubescent stems, solitary terminal white flower, pink/yellow/purple in throat, racemes or cymes with bracts to 16mm long, tomentose calyx to 12mm long, glabrous corolla to 85mm long. Night flowering. Fruits light green, stems tomentose becoming tubercular & nearly glabrous with age, leaves woolly beneath to 150mm long
