Woody rust-coloured hairy tendril liana with angular stems. Leaves glabrescent above & tomentose beneath. Axillary panicles or tomentose racemes, staminate panicles to 200mm of 1.5mm yellow-green flower, pistillate inflorescence shorter but flowers larger, glabrous green petals. Yellow hairy fruit to 22mm long x 16mm
