Dioecious deciduous woody tall climbing or creeping tendril vine or slender scandent shrub with mucronate leaves glabrous above tomentose on nerves beneath to 150mm x 65mm. Rusty-hairy axillary cymose panicles or cymes of yellowish-green or white flowers, male inflorescence to 100mm, 4-8 sepals, 4-5 petals 2.5mm villous on outside glabrous inside, female with 4-5 sepals villous outside, 4-5 petals hairy on outside, scarlet drupe 25mm long, yellow-pubescent, red-tomentose stems
