Sometimes climbing annual or biannual herb or shrub. 2-5 leaflets to 40mm long with grey bristles below to 25mm long. Racemes to 150mm long, toothed calyx 5mm, purplish-red corolla to 10mm, silky outside. Glabrescent brown pods to 40mm x 2mm.
