Glabrescent sometimes climbing shrub with herbaceous stems, hairy stems. Pinnate leaves to 70mm long with 3-8 pairs of mucronately awned leaflets to 15mm x 8mm, with silky strigae beneath. Racemes to 80mm long of red flowers to 10mm long, banner lightly strigose, strigose calyx with teeth to 5mm long. Pod to 40mm long.
