High-climbing shrub or liana, hairy stems, palmate trifoliolate leaves yellow tomentose on both surfaces, leaflets glabrous above, villous beneath to 100mm long. Densely pilose terminal or axillary panicles becoming glabrescent to 200mm long, yellow or reddish flowers, red on outside & yellow-hairy,calyx villous outside, 5 sepals 6mm x 2mm densely pubescent outside puberulous inside, 5 villous petals
