Tall petiole-climbing glabrous liana with trifoliolate palmate leaves, glabrous leaflets to 170mm x 85mm. Axillary panicles to 200mm long of greenish-white, pinkish or violet 7mm flowers with bracteoles 1.5mm x 0.5mm, calyx villous outside, 5 sepals 5mmx 2.5mm villous outside, 5 villous petals 4mm x 1.5mm, 4-winged fruit to 50mm diameter, large wings 30mm x 45mm, shorter ones to 14mm long
