Simple-tendril vine to 4m climbing or creeping with angular stems. Thin or thickish fleshy warty dentate leaves to 75mm diameter with 3-5 coarsely-toothed lobes. Puberulent 8mm yellow male flowers with triangular sepals to 3mm long & yellow corolla villous within striped green without, female flowers followed by 50mm diameter orange to red fruit, flowers with red areas
