Erect or sometimes scandent perennial herb, subshrub or clambering vine to 5m. Leaves to 100mm x 60mm with dentate margins. Terminal or axillary inflorescence of 3-8 heads to 6mm x 6mm with bracts. 5-8 ray florets to 15mm long, 10 or more yellow disc florets. Achenes to 3mm long without pappus.
