Twining herb or erect shrub to 1.2m, with trigonal pilose or glabrous stems, trifoliolate leaves, glabrous leaflets pubescent on nerves beneath, terminal leaflet to 100mm x 50mm, lateral leaflets slightly smaller. Terminal panicles of pink flowers 350mm x 140mm, glabrous calyx 2mm long, petals 5mm long, standard 3mm wide, wings 1mm across, villous fruit 15mm x 3.5mm
