Large hemi-epiphytic vine, erect or scandent with 3-angled stems to 100mm wide with 2-4 spines at each areole, aerial roots. Fragrant nocturnal 300mm long white flowers tinged red on outer segments, inner ones white, numerous green bracts & tepals to 40mm x 10mm, sepals & petals to 120mm x 12mm. Purple or pink fruit to 100mm x 80mm.
