Tall stout pubescent twining evergreen climber or succulent shrub with fleshy leaves to 220mm x 60mm, axillary or terminal pseudo-umbels up to 10 flowers, fragrant 90mm diameter flowers, maroon above, white below, white centre, calyx lobes to 3mm long, brown-purple corolla lobes to 30mm long, whitish outside, creamy-white corona diameter 20mm, follicles to 225mm x 25mm
