Nearly glabrous stout epiphytic liana with 4-angled stems, fleshy glabrous coriaceous leaves 150mm x 60mm. Umbels to 50mm long of slightly scented 15mm cream-white to yellow flowers tipped purple, or reddish 20mm across with magenta or white centres, corolla bearded inside, corolla lobes to 3mm long, triangular & velvety, glabrous outside, corona lobes white edged purplish. Follicles 125mm x20mm
