Fruiting Times
Scandent or erect evergreen glabrous shrub or straggling climber or tree with tetragonal stems. Somewhat pubescent toothed leaves to 120mm x 85mm. Axillary or terminal racemules or cymes to 50mm long with red or orange bracts to 20mm x 9mm & minute bractlets, 25mm long red to orange or yellow flowers with fused orange or red calyx to 20mm diameter, red corolla 5-lobed to 25mm long, tube to 25mm, genitals exserted. Verrucose brown fruit a drupe 10mm x 8mm with fruting calyx expanded to 25mm wide.
