Fruiting Times
Large liana to 30m or scandent evergreen woody sometimes twining glabrescent shrub with lenticellate stems. Glabrous leathery mucronate leaves to 200mm x 100mm pubescent beneath with recurved margins. Axillary or terminal racemes or spikes to 500mm long with bracts to 5mm long of fragrant 25mm tomentose pinkish & white petalled flowers with yellowish base to 30mm across, 5 red silky sepals to 8mm x 4.5mm, fimbriate petals to 15mm x 10mm, 1 yellow, rest white, in congested panicles. Pink winged fruit, glabrescent samara to 70mm x 20mm with lateral wing to to 30mm x 15mm sometimes with dorsal crest.
