Sometimes scandent hemi-epiphytic shrub, glabrous stems. Coriaceous leaves to 190mm x 45mm. 1-3 terminal flowers with bracts to 3mm long, 5-7 green calyx lobes to 14mm x 1mm, pink or red corolla with tube to 65mm x 10mm & 5-7 lobes to 4mm x 5mm, fruit to 100mm x 8mm
