Rarely scandent, normally prostrate herb with quadrangular stems, coriaceous glabrous leaves 45mm x 20mm or scabrid both surfaces, axillary solitary white flowers to 8mm long, 4-lobed green calyx, white corolla 7mm long with 4 lobes 2mm long, glabrous fruit 6mm x 3mm split into 2 with persistent calyx lobes to 2mm long
