Scandent or prostrate woody twining shrub to 3m, young stems pilose becoming glabrescent & lenticellate. Coriaceous leaves to 100mm x 70mm, puberulent above, densely ferruginous-sericeous-tomentose beneath. Axillary cymes or umbels of 40mm diameter pale yellow flowers, petals to 4mm long. Creamy-brown samaras to 45mm, ferruginous-tomentose mericarps 50mm long with dorsal wing.
