Liana or shrub with reddish tomentose branchlets becoming glabrate, tuberculate branches. Leaves to 130mm x 80mm. Umbels or corymbs of 4-10 flowers, with bracteoles to 5mm long, 20mm diameter pink or yellow very fragrant flowers with bracts & bractlets to 2mm long. Green fruit turning brown, wings red-brown to 35mm x 17mm.
